Tomorrow...
Tomorrow, What does tomorrow hold? Sometimes I wonder what lies ahead. I think that we should all enjoy the mystery and the wonder that each new day holds. Even when we try to plan every day down to the minute, sometimes things just happen - down to the second to change our master plan. I don't think these facts stop any of us from planning, but I think I am slowly coming to realize that "A plan is a point of departure." That's a tenant that I often preach at work as an anticipation that sometimes things just change and happen no matter how well you plan. The thing is that I haven't really considered that concept as something to follow in my own life, but maybe I need to. I honestly enjoy flying by the seat of my pants, or at least I want to think that I do. Maybe the truth is that I do actually plan a lot "off the clock," and that planning gives me my "point of departure." Ok, well... I guess that's that. On a different note, I attended the car show last week and really had a blast. I am absolutely in love with cars. I love the curves, the lines, the pillars, and the buttresses. I love the beat of the engine and the softness and smell of the leather. I love how you can row the gears and plant your foot hard and make them go, go fast! I love the variations - some large, some small, but as long as their engine breathes fire then its for me. What's my next car going to be? Hmmm - SUV, coupe, or convertible. I'm honestly not a major fan of convertibles, well, at least not owning my own. However, every time I've driven one - I've had a blast! We'll see. That was pretty random... gotta do that more often.
